New Zealanders are in for a treat when the very first Laneway Festival comes to town. Britomart Square is just two steps from Britomart Station (the city's largest transportation station), just two minutes from the sea. The square itself is perfect for Laneway, with room to fit stalls, stages and audience comfortably, complete with sculpture and a park. When the festival's over, it's just a few steps back on to the bus!
