• St. Jerome's Laneway Festival ("Festival") is co-promoted by The Laneway Festival Pty Ltd ABN 26 450 320 149 and Rockin Roll Circus ABN 25 115 727 887 (collectively "the Promoter").
• Tickets are sold or given, and admission to the Festival is granted on the express condition that the holder is bound by these terms and conditions and any other rules and regulations notified by the Promoter.
• The Promoter reserves the right to enforce published ticket purchase limits and cancel any tickets obtained above said limits by any one customer.
• You must follow the reasonable directions of Festival staff as required.
• The Festival is an 18 years and over event. Persons under the age of 18 years will be denied entry to the Festival. Patrons must have proof of age or Photo ID to enter the Festival, or may be refused entry to the Festival. The Promoter reserves the right to evict any under age person (or persons unable to provide proof of age ID).
• The Promoter reserves the right to add, withdraw or substitute artists, vary the advertised program, seating arrangements, audience capacity, the date of the event (without prior notification) and deny admission to the Festival (including admission to a particular performance at the Festival) with reasonable cause. In the event of any such change, refunds will not be available.
• Ticketholders acknowledge that there may be restricted capacities at some of the Festival’s stages/venues. Once the maximum capacity is reached in these areas there will be no further admissions. Your purchase of a ticket to the Festival does not guarantee admission to these areas in such cases.
• The services provided by the Promoter will be rendered with due care and skill to the extent required by section 74 of the Trade Practices Act 1974 and applicable similar State legislation. Apart from such statutory liability, the Promoter and the owner and or lessee of the venue will not be liable or responsible for any damage or loss suffered or incurred by you when you enter or are on the Site whether caused by the negligence of the Promoter or that owner or lessee or otherwise, whether arising in tort, contract, bailment or otherwise - all such injury loss or damage to person or property is at your own risk.
• Laneway festival will not use or disclose your personal information given at the time of purchase without consent, with the exception of the promotional purchase of the Logitech Earphones. Your postal information will be given to the Logitech distributors for the purpose of shipping the product only.
• Venues and stages on and within the Site may operate a “No Smoking” policy. Ticketholders must comply with any such policies.
• If you are collecting tickets at the ticket box, valid photo ID and possibly the credit card that the tickets were purchased on, must be shown.
• You agree to indemnify the Promoter and the owner or lessee of the venue against any loss or damage it may suffer arising out of your negligence or breach of these terms and conditions.
• Entry to the Festival will be granted with presentation of a bar-coded wristband, or a print-at-home PDF ticket to be exchanged for a wristband upon entry, issued by Greentix Pty Ltd ("Greentix"). The wristband is your ticket to the Festival and must be on your wrist prior to approaching the festival entry and in good condition for scanning. Your Greentix wristband must be worn at all times during the Festival - failure to do so may result in your eviction from the Site.
• No Passouts will be issued unless otherwise advised.
• No refunds or exchanges will be issued if the Festival is cancelled in its entirety due to a reason beyond the control of the Promoter. In such circumstances, the Promoter will not be liable for any damage, compensation, loss or expenses resulting from the Festival being cancelled, postponed, relocated or changed. If a refund is made by the Promoter the patron will receive a full refund of the ticket price and of the industry imposed ticket charges. The Promoter will endeavour to provide the refund within 5 business days. Request for refunds must be made within 4 weeks of the cancellation of the festival.
• There will be no replacement for lost, destroyed or stolen tickets, unless proof of purchase is presented.
• This ticket is strictly not for resale. Unlawful resale (or attempted unlawful resale) of a ticket is grounds for seizure or cancellation of that ticket without refund or other compensation and the Promoter reserves the right to refuse entry or evict any persons found breaching this condition.
• Professional audio or visual recordings of the Festival are prohibited without authorised media accreditation. Still cameras (not professional) are permitted but images may only be used for private purposes and not public display. Any photographic equipment with a interchangeable lens classifies as a professional camera by the Festival’s security standards.
• Patrons consent to be included in film and sound recordings of the Festival and for these recordings to be used by the event organiser or Promoter in any medium or context without further authorisation by, or compensation to, you.
• It may be a condition of entry to the event that a search of person and/or their possessions be required at the time of entry to the venue in order to ensure the safety of the patrons. If you do not consent to such searches, you may be denied entry to the Site.
• No animals (other than service dogs) admitted.
• You must ensure that you and your party act in an orderly manner when attending the event. We may refuse entry or evict you if you or any of your party are behaving in a disorderly, offensive or inappropriate manner. The Festival is a friendly, laid-back event, so please treat your fellow Festival goers the way you would like to be treated.
• We reserve the right to evict patrons who disobey or break Responsible Service of alcohol legislation.
• The festival is fully licensed. Only alcohol purchased from bars within the Site may be consumed at the Festival. You are not permitted to bring any alcohol onto the Site and any found will be confiscated. Patrons wishing to consume alcohol must have photographic ID.
• Anyone found supplying or consuming illicit drugs will be evicted from the Site and may face criminal charges.
• There will be no refund on any unused portion of tickets if you or your invitees are asked or forced to leave for any of the reasons set out in these terms or conditions or if you decide not to attend any part of the event.
• You are not permitted to display trading or signs without prior consent of the Promoter.
• Footwear must be worn at all times on the Site.
• As The Laneway Festival Pty Ltd ACN 134 329 043 is coordinating the ticketing on behalf of the festival, please be aware that the name The Laneway Festival Pty Ltd will appear on your credit card statement next to the ticket purchase transaction.
• You are responsible for checking all event information and ensuring you have purchased the right ticket for the right St. Jerome’s Laneway Festival date. No refunds will be processed for patrons who have mistakenly purchased a ticket to the wrong city or made some other error in connection with their ticket purchase. Be sure to check the Festival website (www.lanewayfestival.com.au) for prohibited items and other entry guidelines.
• The Promoter cares for the environment and community. Please be respectful and place any litter in the bins provided around the venue. Be waste and water wise - thank you.
